For anyone reading this from another country and wondering what on Earth I am on abour, I shall explain. At 16 (or 15 in my case) - at the end of Year 11 of compulsory education - all pupils have to sit exams called GCSEs (for General Certificate in Secondary Education). Mine start in about a month, and I need to be studying hard. But I'm not studying as hard as I should be. To be honest, I hate revision. It sucks. It is incredibly boring, and I never feel any information being absorbed. Plus, there's always something better I could be doing, such as: - Writing an entry in my blog (like I'm doing now, probably as a displacement activity) - Setting up my blog (like I was doing most of yesterday) - Practising my trombone (which I was doing yesterday and need to do every day) - Exercising (which I seriously need to do) - Working on the yearbook (which is going out later this year - see Monkey830's site (http://www.monkey830.co.uk) for some stuff on that) - Sleeping/eating (which I always need to do) - Answering questions on microsoft.public.publisher (like I was just doing) - Looking for something else to do to avoid revision (like I'm probably going to do now)
