Publisher Add-ins
To install
the add-ins, put the DLL into the folder of your choice (choose one
that won't move - like
c:\windows or
something). Now, in Publisher go to Tools > Add-ins (you'll need
to click the double-arrow at the bottom) and go to Add.... Now
browse to the folder you put the add-in in, and double-click
MovePage.dll. Then click OK
Remember, if you find any
problems/bugs with any of the add-ins,
email me and tell me, so I
can see if I can fix them
Warning: These add-ins may not function as intended if you have
multiple instances of Publisher open, or if you have opened up a new
instance via File > New and closed the original instance. This
applies to both Publisher 2002 and Publisher 2003.
Clone Army/Array Tool
This beta add-in creates arrays of objects. To create an array, select an
object, click the Clone Army button on the Objects toolbar, and fill in the
appropriate settings. It requires .NET Framework 3.5, Publisher 2007, and the
Primary Interop Assemblies (PIAs) for Publisher - installed with Publisher if
you had the .NET Framework already installed. Since this is a .NET add-in, it
comes wth its own installer, so manual placing and activation of the DLL is no
longer necessary.

Move Page
Ever wondered how to move a page in
Publisher?
Now you can (if you have Publisher 2002 [or 2003, as it has finally
added that functionality])

here (sorry, but it's
undocumented).
Align/Distribute
Ever found it annoying that you have to access two menu levels to
access the align/distribute options? Can't be bothered to tear
the menus off - or want a separate window like in the old days?
Well, the Align/Distribute add-in is perfect for you! Click
here to get it (version 1.0.1 allows Vertical
and Horizontal Distribution simultaneously).

Default Text Box v1.0.0.3
I suspect that you may have noticed that in Publisher
2002, the "Default for new objects" button is greyed on text boxes.
And in Publisher 2003, you can't save these settings for future
publications? Well, never fear, for the Default Text Box
add-in is here!
In order to make sure I comply with the Microsoft
license agreement (as this add-in is an extension of the sample code
that can be found
here), no source code is available for this add-in
Changes since v1.0.0.2:
The toolbar now preserves your choice of icon and button style
Changes since v1.0.0.1:
Captions are displayed for all the toolbar icons, and the tooltips
have been made more descriptive for the first two
Changes since v1.0.0.0:
In version 1.0.0.0, if you set the defaults twice in one session,
the tabs from the first set of defaults would remain in the second
set
WARNING: It has recently been uncovered that this
add-in may not function correctly under Publisher 2002 in certain
environments. If you are running Publisher 2002 and have had
either success or failure with this add-in, could you please
email me describing what has
occurred.

Global Find/Replace for Publisher 2002 v1.0.0.1
In Publisher 2002, you were limited to searching across
the current text frame/story. This was fixed in Publisher
2003, but if you don't want to or can't upgrade, you can use this
add-in to search/replace across the entire publication.
Known issues:
If you have two consecutive text stories that have exactly the same
number of characters as each other, the add-in will mistakenly claim
that you have reached the end of your publication without searching
past the first of the pair.
Workaround: If you encounter this issue, add a space or paragraph
character to the end of one of the text frames.
This add-in relies on the Rich Text Box control, so it
is larger than the rest (as a setup routine has to be included
Changes since v1.0.0.0
Minor cosmetic changes - spelling fixes in a couple of dialogs, and
making the Close button work on the Replace dialog

Default Layout Guides Add-in v1.0
This add-in is a snap to use - simply set your layout
guides to how you want them to be, then go to Arrange > Set Default
Layout Guides, and they will be reset for you every time you start a
new document
Known Issues:
- The add-in will fail to set the layout guides properly when the Catalog
is disabled on startup.
- The add-in will only work on the first-opened document. i.e. If you are
working on a Publisher document and click New, then the guides
may/will not be set there.
If anyone knows how I can fix these issues, feel free
to contact me

new document.
Known Issues:

is disabled on startup.

working on a Publisher document and click New, then the zoom
may/will not be set.
