Skate training ("patch") sessions are available to anyone practising free skating or dance skating who has passed Level 3 in accordance with the National Ice Skating Association; or anyone receiving private tuition from an Oxford School of Skating or Oxford Ice Rink recognised instructor. Own skates are required - skate hire not available.
If you're looking for a practice buddy for a skate training session, try asking on the message board at the Facebook group. This makes the training less lonely, and makes you more likely to get out of bed for the early morning sessions.

How to get there
A map can be found here. From Carfax, head down Queen Street (towards the Westgate Centre). Continue past the Westgate Centre, going straight on until you reach the end of Park End Street (the junction with Hollybush Row). Turn left onto Hollybush Row and follow the road around past the petrol garage. The ice rink is on the right, opposite Oxford and Cherwell Valley College.
Alternatively, turn left at the Westgate Centre, down Castle Street; turn right at the bottom of Castle Street, and the Rink is on your left.
Nearby bus stops are Castle Street, Queen Street, and the Railway Station.
