I'm Ed, and here are to be found resources I thought you might find helpful. Email me at edward.bennett @ st-annes.ox.ac.uk.
These are Dr J Paton's handwritten notes, typed out in LyX to give LaTeX output.
If you find any typos, please email me and let me know; I'll correct and re-upload.

This is a modified version of the UK English keyboard layout for Microsoft Windows, adding many useful physics and maths symbols. I use it for input in Word. It currently does not work with LaTeX or LyX, and only partially works with MathType. Unshifted and shifted keys are the same as the UK layout; the additional characters make use of the AltGr key (to the right of the spacebar) and the Shift+AltGr combination, which give almost twice as many character positions as are available as standard.

I've put together a small database of printers available in Oxford, and their features. If you know of any interesting printers not listed, email me and I'll add them. It can be found here.
